Scale of the Day: E Lydian mapped to the Square-root-of-2 1% wide

ELydianMappedToTheSquareRootOf2-1PercentWide

The E Lydian mapped to the Square-root-of-2 1% wide Scale. There are dual operations performed on the standard, equal-tempered Lydian Scale in this example. First, all the cent values are sliced in half so that the entire scale fits within the 600-cent "tritone." Then they are multiplied by .01 for the 1% width. The resultant 606-cent "sharp tritone" serves as the new interval of harmonic equivalence.
