Scale of the Day: B Whole-tone mapped to the Square-root-of-2
The intervallic content of the B Whole-tone mapped to the Square-root-of-2 Scale. This is one of the few equal tempered scales mapped to the 600-cent tritone that doesn't have quarter tones. The compositional/improvisational challenge is to treat all tritones as harmonic equivalents so that this doesn't come off sounding like a standard chromatic scale.
