Scale of the Day: D Sharp Pythagorean Phrygian

<span class=

The intervallic content of the D Sharp Phythagorean Phrygian Scale. The key to the sonic shading of these diatonic Pythagorean scales is where one finds the 729/512 augmented fourth (between the second and fifth degrees) and its inversion: the 1024/729 diminished fifth (between the fifth and "ninth" degrees). This is where just intonation introduces a lot of nuance you simply don't have in equal temperament.
