Scale of the Day: A Phrygian diminished 4 mapped to the Triative

APhrygianDiminished4MappedToTheTriative

The A Phrygian diminished 4 mapped to the Triative Scale. Here the augmented gap between the fourth and fifth degree is stretched out to 475.48 cents - nearly a full "perfect fourth" - between adjacent scale members. These triative-based scales are interesting because hearing the 3/1 as a harmonic equivalent is not a big cognitive stretch - even if the interval is a bit of a reach compared to the 2/1 octave.
