The American League Cy Young Award was handed out today. This year it went to Bartolo Colon of the Los Angeles Angels. This was a pretty easy call and I couldn't agree more. In 33 starts he had 21 wins and 8 losses along with 2 complete games in 222 and two thirds innings of work. I happened to attend one of those 8 losses.The National League Cy Young will be announced on Thursday. There's a little more competition for that one but I'm pulling for Dontrelle Willis.
